An interview published in late June with journalist Nicole Sadighi detailed all of the things about the people of Iran that most of us don’t realize.
Joe Pags was joined by Sadighi for an exclusive and highly insightful interview in his podcast series “Unshaken and Unafraid” where we learned all about how the Iranian regime controls everything from speech to people’s dress and the entirety of the media. Thankfully, younger generations are pushing back against the tyranny, and we hear real stories of Iranian protests and defiance.

Iran’s Persecution of Christians
The oppressive regime in Iran led to the execution of more than 900 people in 2024, along with “scores of death sentences for religious-based charges,” according to a March report from the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), reported International Christian Concern. “Morality police violently arrested and assaulted women not in compliance with these regulations,” USCIRF noted in their report, adding that the so-called morality police “also penalized businesses that allowed patronage by women not wearing the hijab.”
