HIGBIE: Remember The Sheep, Sheepdogs, And Wolves This Memorial Day
Every year, Newsmax anchor Carl Higbie delivers his remarks on the true meaning of Memorial Day. Higbie is one of the most prominent voices in American media today, garnering millions of viewers across his nightly Newsmax show “FRONTLINE,” as well as his social media channels. He uses his platform exclusively for good, and often the betterment of others. Each Memorial Day, Higbie uses the opportunity to remind us all about what this day is really about. Follow Carl Higbie on X @CarlHigbie From Million Voices Devotionals Memorial Day continues to be an observance remembering deceased Veterans who gave what Abraham Lincoln described as “the last full measure of devotion” in defending our country. Since the Civil War, an additional 650,000 U.S. soldiers have been killed fighting wars around the globe for freedom’s cause—in Europe, Asia, North Africa, the Pacific Rim, and the Middle East. This does not include the brave men and women who returned home to succumb (for years later) to their injuries, PTSD, and government-inflicted atrocities such as the exposure to Agent Orange. Devotion Prayer for Memorial Day Heavenly Father, our hearts are full of thanksgiving that you fought and won the greatest battle at Calvary! Today, we remember the brave men and women that have gone on before us. We pray for peace and comfort for their families who were left behind. Help us always to remember what they fought for and for those who continue the fight to keep this nation free. Give us courage as Christians to stand up to every evil agenda of those who wish to demolish our values. Help us to recognize the opportunities to speak of Jesus wherever we go, saturating every atmosphere with Your love and positivity. Protect our children from those who wish them harm through the influence that opposes Your guiding principles. In the name of Jesus, we pray all of this, Amen!
Navy SEAL Dissects Ukraine Negotiations Strategy In Must-Watch Chrissy Clark Interview
Independent journalist Chrissy Clark interviewed Navy SEAL and Newsmax host Carl Higbie in late February about the ongoing negotiations within the Russia-Ukraine war. “In this conversation, Carl explains the political, military, and diplomatic factors driving (and hurting) these high-stakes talks,” Clark says in the description. What Does Higbie Think Now? Higbie’s conversation with Clark happened just days before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy got into a nasty little shouting match with Vice President JD Vance and President Donald Trump, according to DCNF. The argument commenced as Zelenskyy openly criticized the U.S. for not stopping Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, which happened under the leadership of President Joe Biden. “The part of history they don’t want you to know about Ukraine war.”pic.twitter.com/ffiwTwRkaU — Carl Higbie (@CarlHigbie) March 4, 2025 Higbie broke down his feelings on the situation during various segments on his nightly Newsmax show (5pm ET Monday – Friday). JD Vance Calls Out European Leaders Following the heated exchange between Trump, Vance and Zelenskyy, Vance took to Fox News to call out Europeans who “puff up their chests” and back the war in public, but immediately change their tune as soon as the journalists are out of earshot, according to Breitbart. “I don’t care what the Europeans say in public” because it is so different to what they say behind closed doors. Peace is what everyone realizes is best for Ukraine, Russia, and the region. “It’s useful to step back and ask ourselves, what is the actual plan here? You can’t just fund the war forever, the American people won’t stand for it… Our European friends… are doing a disservice to the Ukrainians because their own populations are saying they don’t want to fund the war indefinitely,” Vance added. “The craziest part of this… is sometimes you will have European heads of state who in public will puff up their chests and say, ‘we’re in it with President Zelensky for the next 10 years’, and then in private, they will pick up the phone and say, ‘This can’t go on forever. He has to come to the negotiating table’,” he continued later in the same segment.
