BREAKING ALERT: Crime in D.C.: Trump’s Historic Action to Restore Order
President Donald Trump made bold moves to address the escalating crime in Washington, D.C. His recent actions come in response to the rising violence, car thefts, and carjackings plaguing the city. Trump signed an Executive Order and outlined a comprehensive plan to restore law and order, signaling a new era of federal intervention in local crime control. (RELATED: Trump Takes On Crime in D.C.) The D.C. Crime Crisis The crime rate in Washington, D.C., has reached alarming levels. Trump pointed out that “The murder rate in Washington today is higher than that of Bogota, Columbia, Mexico City…” He continued, “The number of car thefts has doubled over the past five years, and the number of carjackings has more than tripled.” These shocking statistics underscore the urgent need for action. FACT: D.C. Crime Is Out of Control. ⬇️ Our nation’s capital should be a symbol of patriotism for the American people—NOT a city of lawlessness. It ends today. pic.twitter.com/TdLERGXVVP — The White House (@WhiteHouse) August 11, 2025 The situation became even more dire last week. Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, a former DOGE staffer, was injured while defending a woman from a carjacking. A group of about a dozen young men attacked the woman. Coristine intervened, resulting in a concussion. Police arrested two 15-year-olds involved in the attack, but others remain at large. This event and others prompted President Trump to take immediate action. Federalizing D.C. Law Enforcement In a historic move, President Trump invoked Section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act. This action places the D.C. Metropolitan Police under direct federal control. It gives the federal government the authority to oversee local law enforcement and take strong action to combat crime. Trump announced, “I am announcing a historic action to rescue our nation’s capital from crime, bloodshed, bedlam, squalor, and worse. This is Liberation Day in D.C. and we’re going to take our capital back.” His declaration marked the start of a major federal effort to restore safety in the city. It’s “Liberation Day” in Washington, D.C. “Today, President Donald J. Trump took bold executive action to liberate Washington, D.C., from the cesspool of crime and homelessness that it has become after decades of unilateral Democrat leadership.”https://t.co/mL6oRxBW4Y — Karoline Leavitt (@PressSec) August 11, 2025 National Guard Deployed to D.C. Trump also ordered the deployment of the National Guard. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth confirmed, “This morning, we have mobilized the D.C. National Guard… You will see them flowing through the streets of D.C.” A total of 1,000 National Guard troops have been sent to assist in law enforcement efforts. The deployment also leaves open the possibility of deploying active-duty military personnel if necessary. . @SecDef “Mr. President, it is an honor to be here and at your direction, this morning we’ve mobilized the D.C. National Guard… They will be STRONG and TOUGH, and they will STAND with their law enforcement partners.” pic.twitter.com/L6Bk5spgY2 — DOD Rapid Response (@DODResponse) August 11, 2025 Attorney General Pam Bondi, now in charge of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, was clear: “Crime in D.C. is ending and ending today. We are going to use every power we have to fight criminals here.” Immediate Law Enforcement Operations Trump’s plan includes aggressive law enforcement operations. These operations will target gangs, drug dealers, and criminal networks in D.C. U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro emphasized, “We need to recognize that the people who matter are the law-abiding citizens! President Trump is going to make sure these emboldened criminals understand: We see you, we’re watching you, and we’re going to change the law to catch you!” FBI Director Kash Patel echoed this sentiment, pointing to a similar operation in Northern Virginia. “We stood up a task force in Northern Virginia, [and] we said ‘Let’s let good cops be cops.’ In one month, we arrested 545 violent felons,” Patel said. “That simplicity in law enforcement is what’s coming to Washington, D.C.” Addressing Homelessness and Public Safety Trump’s plan goes beyond crime. He is also addressing the issue of homelessness in the city. “We are going to be removing homeless encampments from all over our parks… We’re getting rid of the people from underpasses and public spaces,” Trump said. The president emphasized that while law enforcement will be the priority, helping the homeless will still be part of the solution. “We’ll help them as much as you can help,” he added. A Nationwide Push Against Cashless Bail In addition to federalizing D.C. law enforcement, Trump is targeting the issue of cashless bail. He has called on Republicans in Congress to outlaw cashless bail systems nationwide. “That is what started the problem,” Trump said, blaming the practice for the rise in crime. He pointed to the Democratic Party’s weak stance on crime, accusing them of enabling criminals to avoid consequences. Trump’s legislative push would ensure that violent offenders are held accountable before they are allowed to return to the streets. (RELATED: Newsome Attacks Republicans On Violent Crime — Data Tell Different Story) Expanding Federal Control to Other Cities While Trump’s immediate focus is on D.C., he hinted at expanding this strategy to other cities facing similar crime issues. Trump mentioned that after federalizing D.C., he is considering the same approach for New York City and Chicago. Both cities have also seen rising crime rates, and Trump’s federalization strategy could be a model for other urban centers. The Path Forward: A Vision for Safer Cities Trump’s actions represent a significant shift in how the federal government deals with crime in American cities. By federalizing D.C. law enforcement, deploying the National Guard, and focusing on aggressive law enforcement tactics, Trump is taking unprecedented steps to restore order in Washington. His push to outlaw cashless bail and sanctuary cities, and his plans for further federal involvement in other cities, show his commitment to cracking down on crime nationwide. As the operation in Washington unfolds, Trump’s efforts may serve as a blueprint for other cities struggling with rising crime. His federal approach to crime…
Trump Takes on Crime in D.C.
A Bold Move to Address Crime and Renovation President Trump has made it clear he is determined to address the ongoing issues with crime in Washington, D.C. In a series of Truth Social posts, he announced plans for a press conference on “Crime and ‘Beautification’” at 10 a.m. EST on August 11th. His dual goals are to combat crime and restore the physical beauty to the nation’s capital. He said the press conference, “will not only involve ending the Crime, Murder, and Death in our Nation’s Capital, but will also be about Cleanliness and the General Physical Renovation and Condition of our once beautiful and well-maintained Capital.” (MORE NEWS: Trump: New Census Will Omit Illegal Immigrants) He emphasized his commitment to restoring the city to its former glory, pledging to “take care of our cherished Capital.” Key Points from Series of Posts Regarding D.C. Crime • Urgent action to remove the homeless people, clear tents • Criminals will be jailed • Fast action expected, similar to the border • Trump pledges to federalize D.C. • Calls for changes to laws to prosecute teenagers, ages 14-16, involved in violent crimes Rising Crime in D.C.: A Personal Concern for President Trump Last week, Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, a former DOGE staffer, was injured while defending a woman from an attempted carjacking. A group of about a dozen young men attacked the woman, and Coristine intervened, resulting in a concussion. Police arrested two 15-year-olds involved in the attack and are searching for more perpetrators. This incident has prompted President Trump to direct federal law enforcement to increase their presence in D.C. (MORE NEWS: Trump’s EPA Pushes Green New Deal Into Political Obscurity) Trump also praised D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, calling her a “good person” but suggesting that crime was beyond her control. The Legal Path to Federalizing D.C. To federalize Washington, D.C., Congress would need to repeal The Home Rule Act of 1973, a law that grants local officials governance authority over the city. However, Congress retains the power to overrule local legislation. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 of the U.S. Constitution gives Congress authority to “exercise exclusive legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such district… as may… become the Seat of the Government of the United States.” Trump’s legal team is exploring options to make a federal takeover a reality. Senator Mike Lee has called D.C. Home Rule a “disaster,” arguing it contradicts the Constitution’s intent. He has pushed for a legislative change to restore Congressional oversight in D.C., as originally intended. Lee has also suggested that Washington, D.C. could return to its original status by returning residential areas to Maryland, similar to how Arlington and Alexandria were returned to Virginia in 1846. Lee’s proposal is part of a broader push to correct what he sees as the failure of local governance in D.C. Federal Law Enforcement to Tackle Crime in D.C. Under Trump’s direction, federal law enforcement agencies, including Homeland Security Investigations, the FBI, and the DEA, are tasked with increasing their presence in D.C. The operation will focus on high-profile areas like the National Mall, Union Station, Rock Creek Park, and other monuments and memorials. The operation, initially planned to last seven days, could be extended if necessary. Congressional Efforts to Reinstate Oversight Senator Mike Lee has introduced the Bowser Act (S.440)—the Bringing Oversight to Washington and Safety to Every Resident Act. This bill seeks to repeal the D.C. Home Rule Act and return oversight of D.C. to Congress. Lee’s proposal is in line with efforts to ensure that Washington D.C. is properly governed and safe for its residents. 11/12 Congress needs to reclaim the power it delegated away with DC Home Rule That’s why I’ve introduced the BOWSER Act—the Bringing Oversight to Washington and Safety to Every Resident Act—to repeal DC Home Rule and restore congressional oversight as the Constitution intended — Mike Lee (@BasedMikeLee) August 6, 2025 The land that became Washington D.C. was donated by Maryland and Virginia in 1790. The district was designed as a neutral ground to serve as the nation’s capital, ensuring no single state could exert undue influence over the federal government. The area was initially 100 square miles but was later reduced when portions were returned to Virginia. Today, Washington D.C. covers 61.1 square miles, but Senator Lee’s proposal could return the residential areas to Maryland, further limiting D.C.’s autonomy. What’s Next for President Trump and D.C.? While the path to federalizing D.C. may require congressional approval, Trump has made it clear that he is ready to take swift and decisive action. He warned, “There will be no ‘Mr. Nice Guy.’” Although a full federal takeover may require changes to the 1973 law, Trump could temporarily take control of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department if an emergency is declared. This marks the beginning of what could be a significant shift in the governance of Washington, D.C. President Trump’s next steps remain uncertain, but his focus on restoring safety and order to the capital is clear. Expose the Spin. Shatter the Narrative. Speak the Truth. Alaska Hosts Historic Summit Between Trump and Putin
Alaska Hosts Historic Summit Between Presidents Trump and Putin Next Friday, Alaska will serve as the backdrop for a historic summit between Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. The meeting, focused on the future of the ongoing war in Ukraine, comes at a time of heightened geopolitical tensions. (MORE NEWS: Trump’s EPA Pushes Green New Deal Into Political Obscurity) Alaska’s Strategic Role Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy expressed his support for the summit, emphasizing the state’s unique strategic position: “Alaska is the most strategic location in the world, sitting at the crossroads of North America and Asia, with the Arctic to our north and the Pacific to our south.” With just two miles separating Russia from Alaska, Governor Dunleavy highlighted the region’s crucial role in U.S. national defense, energy security, and Arctic leadership. Rep. Nick Begich III, who Trump endorsed during last year’s U.S. House elections, expressed cautious optimism. He stated: “The pursuit of peace requires open dialogue. And it’s encouraging that the dialogue will be occurring at the highest levels here in Alaska, where Russia and America share a historic relationship and geographic proximity.” The pursuit of peace requires open dialogue. This is the first time the two leaders have met since their 2019 summit in Osaka, Japan. It remains unclear whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will attend the summit. Historical Context: Alaska’s Russian Roots Alaska’s history adds another layer of significance to this meeting. Once part of the Russian Empire, Alaska was sold to the U.S. for $7.2 million in 1867 under President Andrew Johnson. The decision was largely motivated by Russia’s struggle to defend the region and fears of a potential British takeover, as Canada was under British rule at the time. Since the sale, no Russian leader has visited Alaska, although international meetings have taken place there twice before: President Richard Nixon met with Japanese Emperor Hirohito in Anchorage in 1971, and President Ronald Reagan met with Pope John Paul II in Fairbanks in 1984. Trump’s Controversial Proposal The summit’s timing is noteworthy, coming just hours after President Trump suggested that Ukraine might need to cede some territory to end the war. At a press conference, Trump remarked: “You’re looking at territory that’s been fought over for three and a half years, a lot of Russians have died. A lot of Ukrainians have died. It’s very complicated. We’re going to get some back, we’re going to get some switched. There will be some swapping of territories, to the betterment of both.” JUST IN: President Trump says Russia and Ukraine are looking at “some swapping of territories to the betterment of both” as part of peace negotiations pic.twitter.com/dbbSYVV2K2 — Fox News (@FoxNews) August 8, 2025 Diplomatic Backchannels and Offers According to CBS News, the White House is attempting to garner European support for a plan that would involve Russia taking control of the entire Donbas region, while Ukraine would cede the partially occupied Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. The Wall Street Journal reports that Putin presented a similar proposal during a meeting with Trump’s Envoy, Steve Witkoff, in Moscow. The plan would end the war if Russia could claim the eastern Donetsk region, including the annexed Crimean Peninsula. On Saturday night, several European leaders issued a joint statement on Trump’s meeting with Putin: “We welcome President Trump’s work to stop the killing in Ukraine, end the Russian Federation’s war of aggression, and achieve just and lasting peace and security for Ukraine… Ukraine has the freedom of choice over its own destiny. Meaningful negotiations can only take place in the context of a ceasefire or reduction of hostilities. The path to peace in Ukraine cannot be decided without Ukraine. We remain committed to the principle that international borders must not be changed by force.” (RELATED: The Trade Deal That Changed Everything: U.S.–EU Breakthrough) Zelensky’s Stance Ukrainian President Zelensky has steadfastly rejected any territorial concessions. In a statement on Telegram, Zelensky reaffirmed his commitment to Ukraine’s territorial integrity: “We will not reward Russia for what it perpetrated. The answer to the Ukrainian territorial issue is already in the Constitution of Ukraine.” He further stated: “Any solutions that are against us, any solutions that are without Ukraine, are at the same time solutions against peace.” He emphasized that Ukraine is ready for “real solutions” that can bring lasting peace, working alongside President Trump and other partners to achieve this goal. The Toll of War and the Need for Peace The ongoing Russia-Ukraine war has taken a devastating toll, with over a million lives lost and billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars spent. Despite the immense cost, little progress has been made toward ending the conflict. Both Presidents Putin and Zelensky continue to hold steadfast to their demands for peace, but neither side has achieved the necessary conditions for a resolution. Trump’s Track Record as a Peace Broker President Trump has a proven history of negotiating peace deals in seemingly impossible situations. Trump: New Census Will Omit Illegal Immigrants
Welcome to The Modern Memo — where our readers expect the truth, not the talking points. We don’t regurgitate headlines or echo the approved narrative. We ask the questions corporate media won’t and expose what they’d rather you ignore. If you’re looking for clarity in the chaos and facts without the filter, you’re in the right place. Trump: Don’t Count Illegal Immigrants in the Census As national redistricting debates continue, President Donald Trump has called for a major shift in how the U.S. counts its population. He recently announced plans for a new approach to the 2030 census — one that would exclude illegal immigrants. “People who are in our Country illegally WILL NOT BE COUNTED IN THE CENSUS,” Trump said. He directed the Department of Commerce to begin work on a “highly accurate” count using modern data and lessons from the 2024 election. The Constitutional Mandate vs. Modern Reality The constitutional mandate for the U.S. census began in 1790, as required by Article I, Section 2, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution, which was ratified in 1788. A census has been taken every 10 years since, and helps count the total number of people living in the country. However, the Constitution does not say whether illegal immigrants should be included. Congress decides how the count is done and what rules are used. That’s where the debate begins. The U.S. Census, since it began, has counted the “whole number of persons” living in the United States: Through the 1940s the census asked about citizenship and noted whether the person was: Naturalized Born in the U.S. An alien (non-citizen) Beginning in 1950-2000, the citizenship question was on the long form of the census and most households didn’t see it. In 2010, the citizenship question was removed. In 2020, when President Trump signed a memo to add the question back to the census, the Supreme Court blocked it in 2019. President Biden revoked the memo in 2021. Today, there is no citizenship question and all people living in the country are included. BUT, with mass immigration during the Biden Administration, the U.S. has never faced this kind of threat to elections through the census. (MORE NEWS: Trump’s EPA Pushes Green New Deal Into Political Obscurity) Why the Census Matters: Power and Money The census affects many things. It helps decide: How many seats each state gets in the House of Representatives How billions of federal dollars are shared between states Where new roads, hospitals, and schools are built How voting districts are drawn If illegal immigrants are counted, areas with more of them will get more representation and more money. This would unfairly boost political power in certain areas. Immigration Surges Raise the Stakes The Department of Homeland Security reported about 11 million encounters with people crossing the border illegally during the Biden Administration. Migrant crossings are down 99.99% under the Trump Administration. Many Americans are now asking: Should people who entered the country illegally be counted the same as those who are here legally? (RELATED: ICE Cooperation Gets CO Deputy Sued By AG) Proof of Citizenship and the Push for Integrity Although the census doesn’t decide who votes, it plays a critical role in shaping the electoral map. As concerns over election integrity grow, many are calling for stronger safeguards. This includes proof of citizenship requirements in voter registration and voting. In April of this year, Wisconsin voters overwhelmingly supported enshrining voter ID requirements into the state constitution — 63% for and 37% against. (RELATED: RESULTS: Wisconsin Supreme Court Election, Voter ID – Special Election) Federal Legislation Under Debate The SAVE Act — a federal bill requiring all voters in federal elections to prove their citizenship has passed the U.S. House of Representatives. It now awaits debate in the Senate. If passed, it would establish a uniform national standard and remove confusion between states. If the bill fails, however, the responsibility will fall back on states — each left to craft their own solutions, some of which may face legal hurdles. The Need for Census Clarity and Accuracy Whether for representation or handing out federal funding, accurate census data matters. Supporters of reform believe that counting the legal population is the only way the U.S. can maintain the legitimacy of a representative system. In a democratic republic, numbers don’t just guide decisions — they shape the whole government. That’s why who gets counted, and how, remains one of the most important questions facing the country. Final Thoughts The mass immigration we saw over the last four years was never just about “compassion.” It was about manipulating the map. We can stop pretending these are random people who came for a “better life.” This was a STRATEGY. From day one, the plan was clear. Flood deep blue cities and swing states with illegals, count them in the census, and boost seats, electoral votes, and political power. Endless federal money through NGOs funded this well-orchestrated plan of attack. Once they were in, amnesty would be granted, and those same people would become voters. That was the long game. It’s the reason sanctuary cities are so important to the left. And why court dates were set years away. It’s why voter ID laws are fought tooth and nail. Political design. Every caravan, busload, red-eye jet in the dead of night wasn’t about taking care of people. It was a ballot box delivery system. It bypasses the will of American voters and uses the census as a weapon. They never counted on a Trump win in 2024. They almost had it made. ALMOST. If we don’t stand up now, support strict immigration policies, and President Trump’s plan to reform the census, illegal immigrants will be the new blue voting bloc in the years ahead. The Constitution was written to make sure the citizens of this country were represented. It was NOT meant to be a tool for political gain through population padding. If we don’t draw a line here, we may never get a fair vote again….
The Trade Deal That Changed Everything: U.S.–EU Breakthrough
In a bold move that will reshape the future of global trade, President Donald J. Trump announced a historic trade agreement with the European Union (EU). The deal redefines the economic relationship between the world’s two largest economies. The deal, hailed as a “generational modernization of the transatlantic alliance,” according to the White House, delivers unprecedented market access for American producers, workers, and innovators, while advancing U.S. economic and national security interests. A Monumental Economic Shift The agreement marks a pivotal victory for the United States. It positions the country as the world’s foremost destination for investment, manufacturing, and energy exports. Through 2028, the EU is expected to purchase a staggering $750 billion in U.S. energy exports. It will also invest an additional $600 billion into the American economy. These moves will drive growth in key industries and fortify the domestic manufacturing base. Furthermore, President Trump’s leadership continues to prioritize the American worker and bring jobs back home. This trade deal reflects his unshakable commitment to economic fairness, reciprocal trade, and revitalizing American industry. Structural Trade Reform for Generations The agreement goes far beyond symbolic diplomacy—in fact, it achieves real, enforceable structural reform with long-lasting impact. Under the new U.S.-EU Cooperation Agreement on Reciprocal, Fair and Balanced Trade, American farmers, ranchers, manufacturers, and small businesses will see sweeping new opportunities to grow and export their goods. One of the most groundbreaking aspects of the deal is the elimination of all EU tariffs on U.S. industrial goods. This change unlocks European markets for American-made products and reduces the longstanding goods trade deficit. The removal of these barriers will allow American products to compete and win in Europe’s lucrative markets, supporting high-quality U.S. jobs and production across various sectors. Strategic Tariff Restructuring As part of the agreement, the EU will adopt a new tariff framework that includes a 15% tariff on key sectors, such as autos, auto parts, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors. Additionally, tariffs on steel, aluminum, and copper will remain at 50%. Both sides will engage in future discussions to secure critical supply chains. Altogether, this new tariff structure is expected to generate tens of billions in revenue annually, helping to restore trade balance and incentivize reshoring of critical industries. Major Trade Provisions and Breakthroughs This landmark agreement includes a comprehensive set of commitments that benefit the United States across multiple fronts: $600 Billion EU Investment: The EU will invest this sum in U.S. infrastructure, innovation, and job creation. This is in addition to the $100 billion EU companies already contribute annually. $750 Billion in U.S. Exports: Through 2028, Europe will depend more heavily on clean, reliable U.S. energy, reducing its reliance on adversarial nations and boosting U.S. energy dominance. Tariff and Quota Reforms: The EU will eliminate or significantly reduce tariffs and open up meaningful quotas across various sectors, allowing American goods to flow freely and competitively. Reducing Red Tape: The deal addresses non-tariff barriers that burden U.S. exporters—particularly small and medium-sized businesses—by streamlining EU regulations and procedures. Agricultural Access: U.S. pork and dairy products will face fewer bureaucratic hurdles, as sanitary certifications and other requirements are streamlined. Digital Trade Protections: The EU commits to not imposing unjustified digital trade barriers or network usage fees, and both parties agree to maintain zero customs duties on electronic transmissions. Economic Security and Innovation Alignment: The U.S. and EU will align on supply chain security, coordinate efforts on investment reviews, and guard against unfair practices and duty evasion from non-market economies. Military and Commercial Cooperation: The EU will increase purchases of U.S. military equipment and finalize new commercial deals in key sectors such as semiconductors and clean energy. Restoring Economic Sovereignty This deal is a direct result of President Trump’s “America First” agenda. That agenda is rooted in restoring national sovereignty, protecting American workers, and confronting decades of trade imbalances caused by one-sided policies and foreign protectionism. On April 2, President Trump declared a national emergency in response to persistent U.S. trade deficits driven by foreign practices that depressed domestic wages and consumer demand. That declaration laid the groundwork for a bold and necessary reset of America’s global trade posture. This agreement reflects the culmination of that reset. It liberates American producers from the stranglehold of unfair trade practices and builds a level playing field for U.S. industry. For too long, the U.S. tolerated foreign policies that stifled innovation and drained manufacturing capacity. That era is now over. A Historic Victory Where Others Failed Despite repeated attempts by past administrations, no American president had successfully negotiated a trade agreement of this magnitude with the European Union—until now. This historic win reaffirms America’s status as the global standard-bearer of economic leadership and strategic strength. In just six months, President Trump has catapulted the United States into a new era of industrial revival, global investment attraction, and energy supremacy. His approach combines bold action, strong negotiation, and an unyielding focus on results. He delivers what previous leaders promised but failed to achieve. A Triumph for the American Trade Future This U.S.-EU trade agreement is more than just a diplomatic milestone. It’s a victory for every American worker, farmer, inventor, and business owner. More importantly, it proves that bold leadership can reverse decades of economic decline. It reignites American industry and reclaims prosperity for future generations. President Trump’s historic deal with the European Union is a triumph of principle, power, and patriotism—and it has only just begun to reshape the world.
Hawley Champions $600 Tariff Rebate as Trump Signals Surge in Revenue
Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) introduced the American Worker Rebate Act. The bill would deliver rebate checks to U.S. families using tariff revenue generated under President Donald Trump’s trade policies. The White House is reporting that tariffs have brought in $150 billion in revenues so far. Projections are over $300 billion for 2025. Hawley says it’s time for working Americans—not Washington insiders or foreign governments—to benefit from this surge. “Like President Trump proposed, my legislation would allow hard-working Americans to benefit from the wealth that Trump’s tariffs are returning to this country,” Hawley said on Monday. How the Rebate Would Work The American Worker Rebate Act would establish a direct payment program funded by tariffs: $600 per adult and dependent child, meaning a family of four would receive at least $2,400. Larger checks if tariff revenues exceed projections for 2025. Phase-outs for high-income households: $150,000 for couples, $75,000 for single filers. Unlike past stimulus payments, this plan doesn’t rely on borrowing or new taxes. Funds come straight from tariffs foreign companies pay to access the U.S. market. Trump: “The Big Money Starts August 1” President Trump emphasized that tariff revenue is just getting started, saying: “The big money will start coming in on August 1. I think it was made clear today by the letters that were sent out yesterday and today.” To keep America in control, Trump signed an Executive Order extending key tariff rates to August 1, 2025. He also notified dozens of countries of their new reciprocal rates. These actions came after months of talks where some nations ignored warnings of higher tariffs, while others agreed to lower their own tariffs and cut trade barriers. Despite this progress, Trump says the U.S. trade deficit remains unacceptable. He seeks to continue to bring countries to the table to negotiate, protecting U.S. interests. Boost from the New U.S.–EU Trade Deal Tariff revenue is set to climb even higher thanks to a landmark trade deal with the European Union. This week, Trump finalized an agreement that will: Adopt a new tariff framework: 15% tariffs on autos, auto parts, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors. Maintain 50% tariffs on steel, aluminum, and copper. This deal is expected to funnel billions more into U.S. Treasury accounts, adding to the funding source for Hawley’s proposed rebate checks. Historic Trade Victories Under Trump This rebate proposal builds on what many call one of the most successful trade negotiations in U.S. history. For decades, past presidents failed to secure fair trade agreements with Europe. These failures allowed trade imbalances to harm U.S. industry. Trump changed that. In just six months, he achieved a historic trade breakthrough with the EU, resetting the economic relationship between the world’s two largest economies. His leadership has revived U.S. manufacturing, attracted global investment, and made America an energy powerhouse. What others promised for decades, Trump delivered—restoring the nation’s role as the global standard-bearer for economic leadership and strength. The U.S.–EU deal is a win for American workers, farmers, inventors, and businesses of all sizes. This proves that bold, decisive leadership can reverse years of stagnant growth and reclaim prosperity for future generations. Supporters Say It’s Time to Pay Families Back Supporters argue the rebate is long-overdue payback for American families. They say in the past, Washington has: Had lopsided trade deals that worked against Americans. Wasted trillions on foreign aid, bloated agencies, and benefits for illegal immigrants. Failed to protect U.S. workers and middle-class families for decades. Tariffs now generate unprecedented revenue. Supporters believe this money should go back to citizens, not into the hands of bureaucrats or foreign governments. The Other Side of the Rebate Debate: Pay Down the Debt First Not every conservative agrees with Hawley’s proposal. Many fiscal hawks argue that with the national debt at $36.72 trillion, new payments are irresponsible. They insist every dollar of extra revenue should reduce the deficit, not create new spending. Interest costs are already consuming taxpayer funds. Handing out checks could push inflation higher, repeating mistakes made during pandemic-era stimulus programs. Debt-focused conservatives say fiscal discipline must come first. Only after the U.S. gets its finances under control, they argue, should extra funds be returned to taxpayers. Treasury Reports Stronger Finances Trump administration officials counter that tariff revenue is already strengthening the budget, making rebates possible without harming fiscal health. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business on June 22nd: “We’ve brought in nearly $100B in tariff revenue so far and are on track for $300B this year. That’s almost 1% of GDP. June delivered a budget surplus with higher revenue and lower spending. This is how we clean up the fiscal mess we inherited.” Supporters say this surplus proves tariffs can fund rebates and reduce deficits at the same time, undermining claims that the plan is reckless. We’ve brought in nearly $100B in tariff revenue so far and are on track for $300B this year. That’s almost 1% of GDP. June delivered a budget surplus with higher revenue and lower spending. This is how we clean up the fiscal mess we inherited. pic.twitter.com/JVfaj1ZAwU — Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent (@SecScottBessent) July 22, 2025 Political Fight Ahead Over Rebate Hawley’s proposal faces a challenging path in Congress. Many lawmakers from both parties prefer to keep tariff funds for pet projects, foreign aid, or deficit spending. But the idea is popular with voters, many of whom have endured high prices, high interest rates, and stagnant wages over the last four years. Trump’s backing makes the proposal a likely centerpiece in upcoming trade and economic debates, forcing lawmakers to take a clear stand. Bottom Line: Washington’s Choice Trump’s tariffs are generating historic sums. Hawley wants that money to go straight to U.S. families, not disappear into Washington’s bureaucracy or be sent overseas. Supporters call it long-overdue payback for decades of failed policies that hurt American workers. Critics say the nation must tackle its $36.72 trillion debt first. As Hawley presses forward, Congress faces a simple choice: use Trump’s trade revenue wisely or keep funding…
Newly Declassified Documents Expose Obama-Era Plot to Undermine Trump’s 2016 Victory
Shocking new evidence has surfaced pointing to a coordinated effort within the Obama administration and intelligence community to subvert the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory—and his presidency. View the White House Briefing here A recently declassified House Intelligence Committee report, now publicly accessible, contains explosive findings that directly challenge the long-pushed narrative that Russia was actively working to elect Trump. The most damning revelations are found on page 17 of the report, which outlines a trove of highly damaging intelligence Russia held on Hillary Clinton—but crucially, chose not to release in the final weeks of the 2016 campaign. (MORE NEWS: Trump Takes On Crime In D.C.) Russia Sat on Damaging Clinton Intel The report details several stunning claims held in Russian possession, including: Internal Russian intelligence assessments that Hillary Clinton was on “heavy tranquilizers” and suffering from “intensified psycho-emotional problems.” Medical evidence suggesting Type 2 diabetes and ischemic heart disease. Private communications among Democratic Party leadership indicating that President Obama and other top officials found Clinton’s health “extraordinarily alarming.” Secret meetings with religious leaders, in which Clinton allegedly offered “significant increases in funding” from the State Department in exchange for support. Internal Democratic admissions that European allies were lukewarm about a Clinton presidency and doubted her ability to serve as head of state. If Russia had truly been working to sabotage Clinton and install Trump—as the Russia collusion narrative claimed—it’s difficult to imagine why such politically lethal material wasn’t weaponized during the campaign. In the months leading up to the election, Clinton’s lead was razor-thin according to RealClearPolitics. The release of this information could have been decisive. A Narrative Built on Lies Instead of acting on this damaging intel, Russia held it back, completely undercutting the foundational premise of the Trump-Russia collusion theory. Rather than revise their assumptions in light of this contradictory intelligence, the CIA under John Brennan and other top intelligence officials buried the material. According to the newly uncovered files, they chose instead to fabricate an alternate reality—one in which Trump was portrayed as a foreign asset and his presidency labeled illegitimate before it even began. This effort laid the groundwork for years of investigations, media smears, and partisan impeachment attempts. All the while, the real intelligence—which painted a very different picture—was suppressed. Tulsi Gabbard’s Bombshell and the Turning Tide The timing of this revelation aligns with a stunning briefing from DNI Tulsi Gabbard earlier today, where she confirmed the existence of a criminal referral related to abuses during the Obama-to-Trump transition. While Gabbard did not name individuals yet, she hinted that key figures in the intelligence community and executive branch may face accountability for weaponizing government resources against a duly elected president. “This is about restoring trust in our institutions,” Gabbard said. “No one is above the law, including those who manipulated intelligence for political gain.” The Real Election Interference These findings obliterate the narrative that Russia was a pro-Trump actor bent on sabotaging Hillary Clinton. Instead, they reveal a far more insidious threat to democracy: a domestic conspiracy, fueled by false assumptions, carried out by powerful actors within the U.S. government, and designed to overturn the will of the American people.
Walmart Met With MAGA Boycott After Heiress Funds ‘No Kings Day’ Ad
Walmart heiress Christy Walton placed a full-page ad in The New York Times in June supporting “No Kings Day,” which many believe is a fierce anti-President Donald Trump and anti-American First celebration. The ad itself did not explicitly mention Trump, but many have interpreted the language as being anti-American First, according to Newsweek. “No Kings Day” is supposed to support things like honoring commitments to allies, defending against dictatorships, and respecting trading partners, which sounds really great on the surface — but also leaves many people asking, “why do we need a day like this? Feel like something corporate America needs, but not the American people?” The ad (as seen below) includes language like “The honor, dignity and integrity of our country is not for sale. Show up, attend your town halls, be civil,” and “WE honor our commitments and stand by our allies;” “WE defend against aggression by dictators;” “WE respect our neighbors and trading partners.” (RELATED: Los Angeles Burns (Again); Is The Golden State Turning Into An Open Air Prison Camp?) As a majority of Walmart’s products are either made in China, or depend on products made in China — a nation defined by the extremist Chinese Communist Party dictatorship — it is unclear whether Walton has realized her absurd levels of hypocrisy in claiming to be anti-dictator. Anna Paulina Luna (@RepLuna) June 10, 2025 “The advertisements from Christy Walton are in no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart. She does not serve on the board or play any role in decision making at Walmart,” a spokesperson for Walmart told Newsweek. Still, Walton is the Walmart heiress, so shoppers are spending their cash elsewhere so as not to keep funding her lifestyle and seemingly anti-American rhetoric. What Is ‘No Kings Day’ Don’t feel bad for not knowing what “No Kings Day” is, or when it is — it is not a national holiday. In fact, it isn’t even a “day.” It appears to be a protest organized by a group called Invisible, which is pretty funny because that is what “No Kings Day” was — invisible — until Walton made a big deal out of it. Now that America does know what “No Kings Day” is, most people don’t want it. The protest is organized for June 14. Patriots will know that June 14 is also flag day, and the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. Trump has organized a substantial military parade to honor this sacred day. (MORE NEWS: Will Summer 2026 Be The Season Of The Blackout? Energy Grid Fails In Major US City) Ironically, Walton, Invisible, and whatever other misinformed folks are involved in the “No Kings Day” event owe its existence to the U.S. army and the flag under which it flies. If it were not for the U.S. army, Walton — and the rest of us — would either be drinking tea with milk or speaking German on June 14. TMM Analysis “No Kings Day” isn’t a thing — thankfully. It is a sad excuse for a small group of loud elites and the people who fund their lifestyles to sit around and do nothing about the problems they think they understand. We’ll be celebrating June 14 in true patriotic fashion: yes, we’ll be watching the parade. We don’t care if you continue to shop at Walmart. Quite frankly, if you can afford to keep shopping at Walmart, well done! In just the last few years, we’ve realized their prices are skyrocketing from being the go-to place for families to get their weekly shop, to an overpriced dumpster fire of crap Chinese toys and furniture, and foods filled with every synthetical chemical known to man. If you can, shop local. Go to your farmer’s market. Start a garden. Thrift and swap with friends. There are so many ways to save money while these huge retailers try to get rich off your backs. And if you’re the kind of person who needs *new* things to feel special, then you better start working really hard, or else the next decade will be a very difficult time for you.

The Trump administration continues to record remarkable progress in bringing back manufacturing despite the media-driven hysteria about the economy. Coinciding with Trump’s 100 days in office celebrations, retail giant Walmart announced a new buy American-made campaign dubbed “Grow With US.” The program, which aims to help small businesses, according to Axios, will make it “easier for U.S.-based entrepreneurs to navigate the complexities of retail and bring their products to a national stage.” BREAKING: Walmart launches new “Grow with US” program aimed at helping small businesses by expanding support for American-made products pic.twitter.com/VYYSHgwC7q — ALX 🇺🇸 (@alx) April 29, 2025 “We anticipate thousands of small businesses will take advantage of these free resources over the coming years,” John Furner, Walmart U.S. president and CEO, told Axios. Since Sam Walton first launched a ‘Buy American’ initiative in 1985, we have been committed to sourcing and selling products that support American jobs,” states the retail giant. Since March 2021, the company has incrementally invested in a $350 billion fund to promote products made, grown, or assembled in the U.S. The initiative aims to create roughly 750,000 jobs within ten years.
